My need for love is so strong yet I feel I can’t go on
How can I love this man?
Please make me understand
Why would I be such a fool
I certainly went to school
No circumstance, no sense, and the unrelenting suspense
A different place a different time
I may not have been so blind
Lord! how can I love this man?

If I stay or if I go, he would never even know
His desire for me has passed
His heart is permeable like glass

His crown jewel idles mildly
